anyway of getting it to sync with exchange public folders?

Can you do it by adding the Public folder to your fave folders? Don't use public folders at home and hav'nt got Activesync on my work PC so I can't check.
(The above asumes you are running Outlook 2003)

no you can't do it by adding favourites, and yes it is outlook 2003, with exchange 2003
