Wassup guys!
I've bought myself a half decent BUDGET rig (well it really is an upgrade but a big one)
This is the first time I will be ever building my own system. If I get stuck on anything im going to be posting here, at the end ill upload all the pics. Anyway im gonna sit down and start to read the manual, Here is the specs :
Gigabyte P31-S3G *
Ati 3850 512meg Graphics
E5200 Pentium dual core - Skt 775 processor
GeiL - 2 x 1Gig - DDR2 Ultra 800Mhz RAM
Freezer 7 Pro
500W ColorsIT PSU (yes its pretty crap I know)
A random old (half broken) case with 1 fan.
*(I ordered a DS3L but got a S3G - from a person on amazon - however i really cant be bothered returning it due to all the hassle, but im going to have to if I dont get over a 3.5GHz on the CPU)
I've already bought all everything so a post commenting about my rig wont help a lot.
If I can get a few people to look over here every half an hour or so and answer any questions I have id be very thankful!
Apparently im stupid for trying to build it myself - My brother says, hes built many PC's before but all my stuff (including my 24" monitor and big case) is at a house down the street, its been raining constantly and he cannot be bothered to come down and help me build it. Instead he wants me to take it all over their (which will take me at LEAST two trips in the rain). I thought , sod that im going to build it myself.
Anyways im gonna go, will update you once I get started - Ive just taken all the first pics of it...
