ActiveSync causing BSOD

Hey guys, recently i'm having problems syncing my dopod818pro to my system through activesync 4.5

When ever it's connected and reaches the part where it's synchronising, my system gets BSOD..and if i leave the cable connected till the system reboots and reconnect on startup, it'll be fine..

Anyone can help?

hmm, seems like the cause of the problem is when i sync tasks from the phone to my system.. synchronizing contacts and calender works fine..
