Activision officially announced today Bizarre Creations’ Blur, the first racing game this British studio is creating after it was acquired by the world's largest publisher. The developer of the Project Gotham Racing series is mixing racing action with offensive and defensive attacks to create an action-packed racer.
Blur's unique feature is its community-based interface tied to a story-driving social network that evolves dynamically as players compete in different races, make new friends, rivals and fans, and connect with other racers both in-game and in real life.
The game will feature a single player campaign but its longevity lies in its multiplayer mode, competitive and team-based multiplayer races with up to 20players online, or on a single console via 4-player split-screen
