Activision support.... Black Ops.

Before the trolls appear, yeah, I buy all games if I like them.

Anyway, Activision support, I cannot describe what I feel about them on the forums.


Reset to level 1 last night.

Rang Activision support, this morning.

Explained the situation, they said I might get it back after 48 hours ? When I asked if didn't come back, would I be stuck at level one after all the hours I put in, answer YES.

Told him I wasn't happy about it, he put the phone down me...LOL.


Very shoddy support.
 
Email Bobby Kotick, I'm sure he can sort it all out for you :rolleyes:

On a more serious note, I'm surprised they run a support at all.

It's activison their CEO said they wanted to turn every $50 game sale into a $500 sale with dlc and proprietary controllers.

Off them 50 quid and they'll probbaly set your rank to whatever you like.
 
Only if activision was like logitech. "Oh my game has broken " "HERE TAKE ALL THE PERKS/LEVELS YOU NEED!!!! "
 
Dont know if it will work now but a few in our clan have had this happen and did this to get it back, only problem they did this as soon as it happened

1.Disable steam cloud
2. close steam
3. go to C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\call of duty black ops\players and delete both your config files
4.Restart steam
5.Enable steam cloud
6. Restart steam

This worked instantly for some and other had to restart their game a couple of times but it worked. 99% of people go everything back and i think 1 got rank back but not all pro perks etc.

If this doesnt work and you have all pro perks/gold weapons etc then as soon as you prestige for the fist time you will lose everything so i recommend staying at prestige 0 rank 50

Well, the funny thing is, I've only been using the Python pistol for the last few weeks. Been getting kicked and banned for using it, because they think I've been hacking/admins don't like getting pwn'd by it also.

So, i'll just get that weapon back, and will continue to use just that.

Got my prestige rank, but only level 1.... no killstreaks, got all my weapons back, and pro perks.

Haven't touched anything, prior to this.

Was joining a game, then got kicked message before I joined, then down to level 1.
