Actually shocked at this...

"within reasonable limits" but "antique, luxury or premium-grade" furnishings are not allowed, nor are "extravagant or luxurious"

My ****. Those allowances are disgutting tbh.

That's actually ridiculous. Good to see our MPs really care about democracy and not just milking us for whatever they can get... This really has to be sorted out soon.

They should get no expenses....Period!!!!

Then they can truthfully stand for MP and have the knowledge that we have of how damn hard it is in this country to survive.

They can claim £400 a month on food without even having to show a receipt, shocking.

A mate used to work in the House of Lords and could claim £15 per day back on food expenses without receipts. He said they justified it because a number of places you wouldn't get a receipt, such as from a snack/drinks machine or street vendors etc. Still a pony excuse.
So of course he could spend £2-3 on lunch or bring in a packed lunch, then at the end of the week claim his £75 "food expenses."

Glad to see our taxes going to such good use as always.
