Looks to me there are now 2 editions Ad-Aware 2007 Plus and the older Se. Whats people using nowadays, I used to use Se and thought it was very good.

Ad-Aware 2007 Plus worth using instead? Using X64vista.

when i'm cleaning someone's pc, i still use adaware se, less intrusive on the system

that, along with spybot s&d, and avg antispyware

What version off spybot S&D are you using? Just seen there is a version 1.5 out now aswell.

Microsoft live scanner (desktop shortcut) with defender (installed) and avg as antivirus.

Can't get Se to install, ive only got one account 'Jim' and iam the administrator. Well thats what it says in user accounts.

Get this message whille trying to install,

Downloaded 1.06 from here http://www.oldversion.com/program.php?n=adaware as I could find any official links on the lavasoftusa.com site.

Right click the install file, and "run as administrator". You probable need elivated privileges.

works every time
