Hi guys, having a slight issues. I've inherited an already set up domain and exchange system. I'm reasonably new to this so please bare with me.
Exchange 2003 standard running on Windows Server 2003
I've been asked to create a mailbox: [email protected]
3 people in the organisation need access to email sent to this address.
The way things are already set up for other mailboxes for group access is universal distribution groups which are mailbox enabled. The requires users are then added in to this distribution group.
I've set this up, identical to other examples e.g [email protected] (which work).
I can email internally to [email protected] and it's forwarded correctly to the users of the group. But when attempting it from an external email (hotmail) I get delivery failure.
Am I missing something obvious?
I've already tried to create a user "sms" which is email enabled, this works fine, internally and externally.
Thanks
