Adaptive voltage on Asus

I have Asus Z370-E, I can overclock my CPU to 4.8Ghz using manual voltage at 1.22v, when I switch to Adaptive (so it downvolts at idle etc.) it then overvolts my CPU to a ridiculous 1.4v. This is when I put 1.22v in the "max turbo voltage" on adaptive.

Can anyone tell me why it is doing this, would very much appreciate if someone could give me all of the settings I need to change in order to get adaptive voltage to just do what it is supposed to. It should go to ~1.22v not 1.4v.

Thanks.

Try going into your 'Internal CPU Power Management' and set 'IA AC Load Line' and 'IA DC Load Line' to 0.01. Worked for me on my Maximus X Hero WiFi.

Thanks, Ok I will try that, did you have the same problem with it over volting?

Ok I just did that and can confirm it does not over volt anymore.

Must say though it is very stupid how you have to change that setting to get normal voltages, otherwise it will over volt to dangerous levels, not very good.

But yes it is fixed now so thanks for that.
