Hi
I've got an old Parkard Bell Celeron 1.2ghz. (Dad) Bought the system awhile ago and it came with a 15" CRT monitor. The monitor is power by the CPU's/system's PSU - I'm trying to find a converter/adaptor for it - so I can power it independent of the PSU for another system...

Anyone know what to look for and where ?
(w/o going against the rule, pm me if needed.)

Oh my god.
I'm a complete retard. The blue headed cable is the attached one, not the power supply cable from the monitor. I can't believed I managed to follow it and ended up with it going into the PSU (it's a complete cable mess behind the desk).

Thanks, I'll go find a power cable.

While this item is somewhat less exciting than your graphics card and processor you will be going nowhere fast without it.
lol.

Also, now this time, I've double checked - the 2.0 speakers attached to the monitor is definitely drawing power from the PSU, what do I use for that?
