Don’t get it from a garage where it’s been sat outside - there’s a chance the UV can denature the molecules and decrease its effectiveness.

Definitely this, A, it’s ridiculously expensive and B, when our site pump packed up recently I had to buy some from a service station, £40 for 20 litres (my trucks adblu tank holds 75 litres) which was crazy and within a few miles I had a malfunction of my adblu system flash upon the dash, Scania put it down to contaminated fluid which given it had come from a sealed container makes me think your on to something about the UV causing problems maybe.

Aldi recently had 10 litres for about £9 which is a much better price than I’ve ever seen at service stations.

I can get the radex from toolstation and screwfix etc,, 10liters for £10, would use tesco with my vouchers but they dont have any or can even get the Greenchem brand for £9 for 10l
