ADC Discount

Hi,

Been a while since i've known anyone to use this, tried a quick google but cant seem to stumble on any recent UK threads on this.

AFAIK it was/is still a 20PC discount for a £59 fee...

Anyone able to enlighten me if this is still the case? just got the new touch, and i'm mighty tempted to get a macbook...

I bought a macpro using my ADC discount. Worked pretty well, the ADC easily paid for itself.

How much is the discount on the MP?

Im thinking of doing the same trick except I actually have access to the uni discounts :S

It was at least 20% in any case; I don't remember the exact numbers but it was quite a nice price. I picked the 8800 video card too.

With the £59 ADC membership, you're probably referring to the $99 student membership. This allows you to buy 1 system at the discounted price. The Select membership allows you to buy 1 system each year but costs $499, which I imagine is more than the discount that you might get. I am planning on getting a Macbook (Pro) sometime toward the end of this year and will probably see if I can use my sister's HE discount (which is around 14%, I think?).

Yup 14% sounds right!

It's 14% on the all computers apart from a Mac Pro where, for some reason, they give you 16% off
