Add 8Gb or just replace with 8?

Hi all,

I currently have 4GB of the old G Skill ripjaw ram, with C8 timings.

If I added say the 8gb of Kingston Grey (to fit underneath my heatsink) on offer would they run ok together? Being different timings and maybe voltages?

Or should I just scrap the 4gb kit and use 8? I dont really mind either way but i suppose 12 is always better than 8 right?

What 8GB set would you suggest I go for considering the above? Aiming for around £60 max if possible

It can?? Unless I'm totally blind the cheapest GSkill kit I can see is £47.99 and climbing upwards for the other sets?

Ordered the G-Skill 8GB (2x4GB) DDR3 1600Mhz RipjawsX Memory Kit CL9 (9-9-9-24) 1.5V.

Cheaped out on the delivery to keep it low...damn prices to NI are always a rip

Thats good to hear. Did you run it at the 1.5V? Or is that only really for sandybridge setups?
