Add essentials dashboard to server standard 2012 ?

As title, I have server standard now but I want the dashboard section from the essentials version also, how do I add this ?

Slightly off-topic I guess, but am I alone in thinking the new Server Manager in 2012 is horrid to use? Seems a big step backwards to me. Slow, somewhat buggy, not particularly good for actually doing anything useful...
