Add page search to html file.

I have a very simple html page. It's a list of clickable links, about 1000.
I use it with active desktop to help me at work, but I was wondering.
Is it possible using Dreamweaver or another programme, to add a search box which will search the entire page for the text I want?
In active desktop currently, clicking any links or searching for things will open up IE which I don't want.

al I want is the ability to search the page for text, like when you press ctrl-f in firefox or IE. But a perminent box in the html page at the top. Can this be done?

When you say alt+F4, do you mean ctrl+f?

Then I would have thought so.

A form field at the top. Some javascript to scan the page for the text string and jump to where it is on the page.

You may even be able to find something pre-built.
