Ok, so one of my staple lunches is a Mackerel Pasta. It's done on a tight budget (student) and to be honest I try and keep this meal under £2.
I am however starting to get a bit bored with it, and was wondering if any of you guys had any suggestions of things that would work with the basic tastes, wouldn't cost much, and might add a bit of variety?
Basic meal is:
Handful of Pasta
Tin of canned mackerel
About 200ml of Pasatta
teaspoon of mixed herbs
pinch of salt and pepper
Was considering adding in a small grating of cheese, but not really sure what else might work?
