hi guys well i am looking for a way to speed up my life when using my laptop i have started using quicksilver witch lets me do just about everything i want to using the keyboard, so no need for the mouse the only thing is i need to click on stuff on websites using the mouse so was looking for a way to add touch screen to my macbook pro.

I don't think it's possible to modify your MBP to add touch screen, the only modification you can do for your MBP with regards to the screen is exchanging it for a higher resolution LCD which is detailed in this thread.

Or else, you could purchase a Modbook which is a tablet however from what I have read, you can't really use your fingers on it since OS X has not been designed for touch screen use yet.

Why are you trying to upgrade everything on your MBP?

I know it's too late to suggest this but wouldn't it have been a better idea to save up for a 17in MBP with all the factory upgrades whilst keeping the warranty? :p

dident want a 17 and i got the top end 15.4 i dont like the idea that people think a 17 is an upgrade when the specs are about the same 17 is far to big and i dont think a 17 is really a laptop as who wants to carry that about ever day
