I used to drink 2-6 litres a day. I lowered it a bit then totally stopped. I only stopped because my teeth were starting to crumble from the acid. I now get all my caffeine from coffee which I drink a lot of. I've been thinking about cutting down on the caffeine via trying decaf. I don't know how true it is, but people that cut down on caffeine seem to always report feeling better for it, so I'm going to try.
I have an addiction to Coke too, and I love fresh coffee.
I try limiting myself and try to drink more water, but I always want another ice cold Coke. I'd drink it all the time, including nights out replacing beer with it, if I thought I could get away with it.
The best drink in the world is Ice Cold Coca-Cola from a glass bottle. Mmmmm.

I love the taste and I find real Coke a bit sickly.
When I take a mouthful of Sugar & Caffeine Coke my body trembles and it's usually followed by an 'Aaaar' and then a belch.

I am quite amazed that we have so many coke addicts here.. I count myself among them, and am 'trying' to give it up, I know I drink too much often 10 litres a week of supermarket own brand stuff..
Hard to give up caffiene though, harder I find than the smokes.. quitting smoking was easy..

In moderation yes, in ridicules amounts daily thats a different story.

Could be! In all honesty I dont know enough to know which part im addicted to. It is however the only caffeine I have. I dont drink coffee or red bull or anything like that, I do have the odd brew once in a while though!
It's common amongst geeks, or so I have seen.

I've tried to cut out fizzy drinks from my diet too, but in can form, they're just much too convenient and more widely available. Add to that the cost of fruit drinks/bottled water and it's more of a hinderence than anything else.
Still, I'm on the Fruice as much as possible but still have 1-2 fizzy drinks a day, usually Coke or Fanta.

it gives me that extra boost in the morning. but really it's not good for you ahh well.
This. I used to mock people who drank bottled water. Now i drink about half a litre/day of carbonated water. Very refreshing when served chilled.
Why? Because it has bubbles?
Whats wrong with liking water with bubbles?
