I'm curious about your steam habit.

How many of you would admit to actually being addicted to steam?

I have only just started to buy more games in the past 6 weeks. Previous to that I only had an account to get the freebies. But I have now amassed a huge collection in such little time that I fear it is not about the games any more. I am starting to feel it's about value for money.

OK, there are few games I have paid retail or close to retail but they are the ones that I have really wanted to play. The rest of the games I am making an excuse that they will do me for the year until the next sales come around.

Am I alone?

As long as your not spending all the money on games and have enough to live and feed other and pay bills its fine.

However, this is exactly the reason why Valve offer free games. It gets steam installed on your computer in your home at your finger tips 24/7!!

It doesn't help that once your credit card details are on the system it is too simple to just click and pay for something.

Damn you steam.

I tend to avoid looking at Steam unless I want to buy/play something specific. If I looked at steam sales etc every time they were up I'd probably have no money :D

yep
i need to add all my games to steam, so id use it as a start menue type thing :D

with some games so cheap its kinda like, well why not?. sad thing is i dont play that much :\

I only buy from Steam if its not cheaper elsewhere, gotta admit though its really handy having 1 program with games on it and not 80+ DVD cases around
