Adding 512mb

Hello,

I was wondering if an extra 512mb would have any impact on my machine.

I have:

512mb
AMD XP 3200
40gb HDD
200gb HDD
Floppy
DVD Player
DVDRW
Cbox
cathodes
few fans

If its the same type run in dual channel, then the impact will be a positive one, and even if it isn't dual, you should notice an improvement.

there will be a massive improvement mate trust me i just did the same as you, ive got exactly the same system as you and added 512mb of ram - and what i put down to my gfx being slow was actually my ram -games run a lot smoother on my 6800nu now.
