Adding a 4th HD to a Asus P5W DH Delux in a non raid set up - possible?

II'm surrently using up my 3 regular sata posts with drives that aren't set up in any RAID configuration, I want to add a 4th drive but only have the 2 EZ-Backup ports to add it to and when I try doing that it fails to recognise the drive, is it possible to use one of these additional posts to add a 4th drive withough setting up RAID?

There is - you'll need to turn off the EZ Backup feature in the Bios first. I've got full instructions somewhere - I'll post the link as soon as I find them.

I'm having trouble locating where to turn off EZ Backup, anyone able to help please?

I think its in the 2nd to last bios menu, I can't remember the name but I know it towards the right hand side of the top menu.

under 'DH Features' there's an option listed as 'EZ Backup RAID mode change' - is that the one? It's currently set as [Disabled] though and the only other option I have is [Enabled]

That's it. You now need to follow the instructions on how to remove the EZ Backup jumpers in the link I posted - search fro EZBackup and read the linked threads.

removed the 2 jumpers and added disk to the second EZ Backup Sata port - thanks that's done the job
