Hey,
I'm pretty sure I have this right but I'd like a second opinion. there seems to be a lot of similar questions out there.
I have 3 GU10 light fittings in my kitchen. One is on it's own and can only be turned on/off from one switch, and the other two fittings work together and are operated in a two-way system from switches at either end of the kitchen (one of them is the first switch I spoke of)
since a picture says a thousand words, here's roughly what I have (although I have no dimmer switch installed currently)
Am I correct in assuming that will work as before except the standard rocker type switch will only be able to turn the light on at whatever setting the dimmer is currently set at, and won't default to 'fully on' (which is what I expect and that's fine)
my GU10's are dimmable superior COBs from light rabbit, so not cheapy ones.
the dimmer switch I will be buying is this one: http://www.screwfix.com/p/varilight-trailing-edge-push-dimmer-2g-1-2w-2-x-250w-va/98455 which I believe will do what I need to do and is LED friendly.
cheers, Rick
