adding a payment system to a cart-less site. how easy?

i'm considering adding something like worldpay online payment gateway so that i can get customers to pay a deposit and even the invoice in full if they wish.

i wondered how easy if at all possible this would be for a static completely custom made site that doesn't use any cart system? i do have an online quote system, so ideally would like to tie it up with that

Pretty simple most likely. They'll just need a variable of how much to pay.

I imagine worldpay is just as simple.

Pretty easy. I've integrated with a number of payment systems (not for websites) and none of them require a cart. The docs are normally very straightforward, especially if you already have experience of integrating with other APIs.

I tend to always go with https://gocardless.com/ super simple for your requirement and there fee's aren't to bad.

And the setup is easy as just confirming your bank account that it gets paid in

Also they have a widget type thing you can just drop into your site.
