Hello.

I purchased a "LG 2430A Soundbar" about 6 months ago. Ide like to add a sub to this as I know it really enhances the sound especially playing call of duty and games similar to this.

Is it straight forward to add a sub to a soundbar?

Thanks

You can't, as the sound bar has no audio output. You're likely only going to find audio output or a dedicated subwoofer output on higher priced sound bars.

What you could do, is connect a subwoofer to the RCA audio output on your TV. That is assuming your TV has RCA audio output. You would need a subwoofer that accepts line level RCA input, and you would have to control the volume independently from the sound bar, as the two would not be linked.

If your TV doesn't have RCA audio output, then there is not a lot you can do without buying a different a sound bar.

Ahh. Cost me £100 and still has the protective plastic on it lol.

Wouldn't want to let it go for much less than £75 really.

EDIT: Might just sell it and hope for £70 then get a good headset to go with xbox one (probably buy the adapter instead of getting a xbox one specific headset)
