Adding a Wireless Extender to VM Superhub

I currently have a VM Superhub in the loft (typical 2 storey semi-detached house) - Superhub is sitting right above the loft access hatch, roughly in centre of the house footprint.

I am getting patchy wifi signal in a couple of rooms on the ground floor - will the attached help boost signal if I mount it on 1st floor, almost directly beneath the Superhub?

I assume that it is easy to set up.

I use one of these

And it helps a little. Don't expect miracles though as it's still limited by the connection to the Superhub.

powerline work well, and have used a few wireless repeaters and access points with VM hubs, cant say i've had a problem with any make so far, bought cheap ones and branded ones as well, all worked fine for me..

Thanks for feedback...the more I read about the VM Superhub the more I am minded to bite the bullet, set it to modem only mode and buy a new £100 wireless router (Asus N66U with better wifi capability).
