Adding another 5850 (or 5870)

So I want to prolong the life of my current rig (single 5850) and I'm thinking about adding another card to my setup; would a 5870 work with a 5850 though? I'm considering one instead of another 5850 due to the negligible price difference.

Also, as a newbie to crossfire, is there anything I need to do/be aware of? Would a 650w Corsair PSU be suitable for this? I'm running an i7 920 @ 3.8ghz.

I've heard of 'microstutter' countless times over the years, is that still an issue?

Thanks :D

I have a Rampage II Extreme. Went way over the top when building the rig.. especially as this board supports 3 way SLI/crossfire and it hasn't seen more than one card in the two years that I've had the thing! :o

My PSU is a TX 650w.

I think I'll go for the 5850 twin frozr on the overclockers site then, as I do value a quiet-ish system. I'll need to rearrange the internals though as the PSU is bottom-mounted in my HAF 932 and that will result in very little breathing room for the cards if I try to cram another in there. Luckily there's two PSU mounting points in the case.

Thanks! :D
