I've got a relative who is a BT Broadband customer and has Sky TV.. As far as we both understand it you can add BT Sport to your Sky package.

He's given me his viewing card number and I think he's paying some extra for this but I'm finding the whole thing a bit confusing with some suggestions it would be something like £27 a month to add it!!

Has anyone done this that could give me a super simple guide?

Thanks!

Phone up BT and add it to Sky for £12.50 a month if he has BT broadband.

Or it's only £7.50 a month if he doesn't want it in HD for some strange reason.

I've seen everything from £5 a month to £27 but also that prices have gone up so would it be fair to assume the £7.50 is the increased £5 and as he wants HD (obviously as you say) it'll be £12.50 which was less at some point in the past?

And this is only BT he needs to speak to not Sky?

He's a bit technologically challenged so I'd like to reduce the interaction he has to make with anyone lol, he just wants to keep hiring out plant equipment and watching speedway :)

Yeah speak to BT. Only they can add BT Sport to a Sky subscription.

It was a tenner a month up until recently. It's now £7.50 plus an extra £5 for the HD channels. So yeah £12.50.

It's easy.

You just need his BT account number and the Sky viewing card number.

I just tried.. it's a business account so he needs to speak to them.. I might try and pretend to be him, I'll start rambling about telehandlers lol :)

I vaguely remember it being free a while back..

I guess in situations like this where he wants something specific that isn't on Sky you don't have a lot of choice?
