Hi all!
I've got myself a Titan 8700i Pulse from here (http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=FS-247-OE) which is OC'd to 4.4ghz as standard and I've recently upgraded the RAM from the standard 8GB up to 16GB and whilst browsing CPU bundles on here yesterday I noticed a note on the page for bundles that if memory is increased then new BIOS settings will need to be applied (see note at the bottom of the page http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=BU-152-OE)
My question therefore would be would this be the case with my system and would I need to change any BIOS settings to compensate for the additional 8GB of RAM?
I used indentical RAM for the additional 8GB and I've performed a number of tests using CPU-Z and Prime 95, as per Bicepo's thread here (http://forums.overclockers.co.uk/showthread.php?t=18383228), and the clock speeds seem no different to what they were prior to fitting the additional 8GB so all looks ok but whilst I work with PC's on a day to day basis the whole OCing scene is totally new to me so just want to check I'm not overlooking anything.
Any help/advice is much appreciated.
Thanks.
