Adding fans

So my motherboard only has 1 fan header which is for the cpu fan. Stock it came with no intake or exhaust but I would like to change that by adding 1 intake fan and 1 exhaust fan. I do have 3 sata cables free. Do I buy low rpm fans connect them via a sata adaptor and have them running at full throttle or there is an other way?

Why do you think it needs additional fans then?

It looks like the CPU fan is ducted directly outside as an exhaust anyway

Well I bought it used and the plastic vent thing wasn’t there. Also it is a i5 10400 with a 1650super squeezed in there. The pc can become a toaster under load pretty fast, I use it with the side panel off but I would like to change that .

Couple of choices then:

Either get a manual fan controller like the Noctua NA-FC1, and some standard 3 pin (Not PWM) Fans, and then you can manually dial in a fan speed.

Or

Get a PWM hub, connect it to the CPU Fan header, and then connect your cpu fan and new PWM fans to the hub - all fans will then be controlled based on the CPU Fan speed.
