adding gui to ubuntu

Hi,

I've installed ubuntu this afternoon in server mode with no gui. Im struggling with some bits and wouldn't mind some nice gui action (no pun intended).

What do I need? Is it kde? I've tried apt-get install kde but its not recognised.

arh got it. sudo apt-get install ubuntu-desktop .
