Adding media to WMP11 in Vista - help please

I've added my media drive to the library but when it scans it finds nothing. Same seems to be the case in Media Center too

I've taken full ownership of the drive in question and it's still not having it. It will work if I manually drag the files into WMP, but I want the library to work properly so that it updates every time I open up.

Anyone got anything on this?

In Media Center, goto settings, then choose which folders it scans when updating.

I already have the folders added, it just doesn't find my media. We're talking mp3, xvid, wmv etc etc.
