Adding more USB ports?

Just a quick question.

The motherboard in one of my systems unforunately only comes with 2 ports on the back panel (and they are only usb 1.0 :( ) and because I have 3 or 4 devices I would like to connect I need more ports.

A 2 port USB 2.0 card has been offered to me for free, so what I wanted to check is whether I should just be able to install the card and plug in my devices, or if there is any possibility of it causing conflicts with the onboard USB ports?

Thanks for replies :)

Should be fine, and if your on XP it will be USB2.

DON'T install any drivers that come with it tho, just let XP do it.

Since your going to have a mix of 1.1 and 2, make sure your being clever with what you plug in where:

i.e. mouse 1.1
data transfer devices (flash readers/external HD etc) 2.0 :)

Will be limited by the PCI bus though.
