Hi
I want to add to my 16B of ram a second pair of ram. Currently, I am using Kingstoon-3200 KHX3200C16D4/8GX. I am wondering if adding something like Kingston Fury Beast 16GB (2x8GB) DDR4 PC4-25600C16 3200MHz Dual Channel Kit would be an issue. Both sets are with the same speed and I cant find anywhere the same set I am currently using.

Which CPU/motherboard?

Kingston don't state what memory chips they use in the datasheets, so it is just luck really, you might find they work well and no changes are needed, or you might have to increase voltage & change the timings/frequency. Worst case is they refuse to work together at all. Safest option is almost always to sell the 16GB kit and buy 16GBx2 (unless you have an old system that is not compatible with 16Gbit memory).

If you have a modern system, like 10th gen or Zen 3, then your chances of it working without any problems are better.

Kingston RAM has gone through a bit of a rebrand due to HP buying their 'HyperX' peripheral section.

I'd either email kingston directly and ask them for the current branding/product that would match your existing ram or like Tetras says sell/remove the old and buy 2x16GB kit instead.

Now I wouldn't be shocked if the option you've suggested is the rebranded version of your old ram but in general mixing different ram isn't a good idea.

I have i7-10700K and Z490 Aorus Pro AX.

10th gen is generally pretty good with RAM compatibility and it supports the newer higher density 16Gbit memory, so you should be fine if you choose to ditch the 2x8 and have a fair chance of success if you don't.

It should be fine to add the Kingston Fury Beast 16GB (2x8GB) DDR4 PC4-25600C16 3200MHz Dual Channel Kit to your existing 16GB of RAM. It would be best to check with your motherboard manufacturer to make sure that your motherboard can support the additional RAM.
