Hi I'm doing a system clean/refurb which is long overdue.

I currently have 4x4gb Corsair Dominator GT (version 4.13 1.50V 2133MHz 9-11-10-27(?))

I have found 2x4gb used Corsair Domiator GT (looks like they were part of a set of 3, though I doubt that has any bearing on anything) online for a good price but the version and specs are different according to the pics: version 5.11 1.65v 2000MHz 9-10-9-27(?)

Will it be okay to combine these two different versions???

They will put into a Rampage IV Extreme motherboard.

Any input would be very much appreciated, thanks

Thanks for your speedy response.

So the different voltage is not an issue?

The 4x modules I already have that run at 2133mhz with then run at 2000mhz?

Will I realistically notice a difference in my performance if this is the case? Or will the additional RAM make up for that?

Can I overclock the new modules? Also can I turn off the new modules in the BIOS if there happens to be compatibility issue?? The ram is part of my water cooling loop and it would be a huge pain to dissemble the loop just to take them out if there is an issue.

I am starting to top out my current 16GB more regularly than i did a year or so ago when multi tasking, its frustrating when I do, but mainly upgrading to 24GB is future proofing

Thanks
