Sorry if this is a dumb question but I have only just "discovered" dynamic drives and "Help" doesn't seem to be much Help.
I am running 2 1TB drives as MIRROR in win 8. I am wanting to shrink the current single partition by 150Gs or so and create a new one for backing up my SSD boot drive.
All the help articles suggest that I start by right click and select "Shrink volume" but there is no "Shrink Volume" to select.
Though the help articles say nothing about this, I am guessing I have to Break/unMirror the dynamic disk first, resize one disk and then re-mirror them but I do not wish to start playing with it until I am sure I am not going to mess thigs up
Would somebody be able to briefly talk me through it?
