Adding picture to MP3 tags?

Which is the best/easiest software for doing this?

I am using ID3-TagIT but can't add pictures with this.

MP3 Tag Tools has the option, or even use iTunes.

Just don't let iTunes automatically download art for you, as it gets rid of the picture embedded in the MP3 file and puts one in the iTunes database for the track. Looks fine in iTunes, but play the MP3 in something else and there's no album art!

Unless they've fixed that now?

OK thx, I will take note of that.

Just about to get myself an Ipod Nano so wanted to clean up all my tags & add album art.

Does the Nano display album art?

As long as you dont register your details (ie Card etc) with the store on itunes then it doesnt allow auto downloads of art anyway.

Unfortunately for me Im picky so have been spending ages looking for covers etc for things myself, but it at least allows you control over what goes in.

If you highlight more than 1 song in iTunes (such as a whole album) then you can mass add a pic etc in the ID3 section).

I *think* the nano does, but I dont have one, pretty sure it would if its the new gen, otherwise its pointless having the colour screen
