Adding RAM

I have 4 GB Corsair Vengeance (2x2GB) Dual kit in my PC , and I want to add

Corsair Vengeance 8GB (2x4GB)

Do I have to remove the 4 GB I already have so I will only have 8? or can I just put the extra 8 in aswell as the 4 so I will have 12 ? sorry for the noob question

ps I have 2 spare slots atm

they will be both 1600mhz so they will be the same speed?

I have a 4.40 ghz overclock , I might just sell the 4gb i take out and use the new 8gb so I dont have to redo the oc

Cant I simply just replace the one I linked with my old 4gb? I cba with all the changing etc I dont mind that its abit more expensive

Ok I shall just sell the 4gb , its almost brand new anyways , and install the 8gb in the same 2 slots.

*edit* if it is rly easy to adjust the overclock then I might think about trying to install the 12gb of ram in 4 slots , but I have never OC'd or adjusted a OC before and I dont rly wanna mess it up
