Adding Sat nav maps to car

Hi all.

I’ve just had a Hyundai Ioniq delivered which doesn’t come with the sd card for sat nav maps.

What would be needed to get mapping up and running on this thing?

It wasn’t advertised hence my question as to what would be required.

Thanks. I wasn’t sure whether you had to buy a specific card or if you could DIY with an sd card.

I doubt it’ll ever get much use as I’d be using CarPlay mostly.

Well it’s the first car I’ve ever had with even the possibility of satnav built in so if it’s not there it won’t be a huge miss.

The built in Nav in my Leon is shocking so I use Carplay while I'm on work time and Android Auto when I'm not.

OP I'd check with the supplying dealer. The SD cards are normally fitted during the PDI so may simply have been forgotten.

It’s from Cazoo it definitely was not supposed to come with the maps as I’ve checked with them.
