Adding second pump question

I'm considering adding a second pump following advice I've been given.

I'm using a single D5 res combo at the moment and there's quite a bit it has to pump through;

Mayhems Havoc 480
Mayhems Havoc 240
Nexxos 280
EK supremecy evo
2 x EK 780ti water blocks

Temps are okay but not quite where I would have expected, but it's more of a bleeding issue. The Havoc's are a little restrictive, no where near the Hardware Labs, due to the extra passes the water does on its way through. I also think I may still have some air in the system even with the D5 on full and a bit of shaking.

So would you add a second D5 in the loop or a Swiftech MCP35x. The cost is about the same so that's not an issue (well the D5 is about £10-20 more) I should be able to mount either in the case so space isn't a problem. It's more of a reliability and noise question. I'm happy with the D5 so a second makes sense, although it will add more heat in to the loop and I've seen a few posts where people haven't been happy with a dual D5 setup. The Swiftech has more head pressure which might be more beneficial and Martins Liquidlab states they work well together so compatibility isn't a problem. I'm more concerned with a lack of PWM headers as I only have the cpu-opt I could use therefore would run at the same % as my fans and the location migh result in higher pump temps. It's going in a Enthoo Primo which has a specific pump bracket at the back of the case but airflow may be restricted. I don't want it overheating and failing. I've also read they can be a bit louder then the D5's.

Which would you suggest?

Thanks for the suggestion but that's also the most expensive and difficult route to follow. Finding room for the dual d5 housing would be problematic, it would cost £110 minimum (£60 for the top and £50 for another D5) vs £75 for a D5 and top or £65 for the swifty and then I'd need another res. I just don't think I could justify the extra cost.

Adding another D5 or Swifty would be half way through the loop and so much easier and cheaper to do. I just need to be diligent during the first filling.

Well i added a second pump. A Swiftech MCP35X based on all the reviews and comments on better head pressure and so on. I installed it at the weekend and will be removing it tonight. My god are these things noisy or what. I now feel like I've got Simon Cowell sat in my case (A whining useless lump sat in a corner that no one wants to listen to). There's a constant whining from anything past 2,000 rpm and with it being pwm it's constantly changing within 50rpm or so, this really get's on my nerves. Gaming it's fine as the fans spin up and drown it out, but on idle it's the loudest thing in my case even at 2,000rpm and I've got 16 fans in the damn thing...! :) The D5 on the other hand makes no noise at all. I've noticed no difference in temps but bleeding was easier so I've ordered another D5 to replace the ddc. I'm not expecting any drop in temps but it's for my peace of mind to help get rid of the air and provide a backup in case one fails.

I just find it fascinating one persons definition of silent to someone elses. I'm sure they're great but no more ddc's for me. :)

Lol! Yes but at 600-800 it's very quiet. At full speed (1,400) it's loud but tollerable, but it never goes that high, 1,000rpm is also my limit.
