Hi, im trying to find a front faceplate with esata connections on it. ie 5.25" or even 3.5". Ive found a few that will add some round the back like this -
************************

I cant for the life of me find one. The closest ive found is a multireader jobbie with one sata connection and a host of card readers etc. I just want a couple of esata ports, nothing else. Surely somebody sells one?????

Anyone know of any? Many thanks for any help.

No hotlinking

The pics are fine, its hotlinking which is frowned upon.

Usually you get the drive bays with fan controllers and the like in them, ive had a quick search on some sites i know, but cannot find anything like what you are after.

I know the Akasa Eclipse has a front PCI blanker space for an add in card blanker like the one you posted to be fitted. That is the only method I can think of short of making it yourself, which would be easier.

Some of the newer Antec cases come with a front eSATA port, but apart from that the only real option at the moment that i'm aware of is to make something :(
eSATA is still fairly new and it tends to take a while for the accessories companies to start making drive bay units with new connections.

IIRC there is a company that produces a modular drive bay connection set, and they might have already produced eSATA ports as an option (they do options for virtually every other connector).

Ok, thanks for your help. Ive got an antec nine hundred case which ive only had cpl of months so not really up for getting another case. Ill get by with the rear esata connections, just thought there would be something for the front drive bays by now. Ill look again in couple of months :)

Yep the first one is for normal sata, and im probably going for the second item and ill just have it round the back as its intended, not a biggie, just wanted one on front if possible. Thanks for help again.
