Adding some LED strips

Probably a stupid question .... Do the strips get their power from the mobo header or do you have to use power from one of the sata connectors?

Also, any recommendation on which strip to buy. I have a Asus Rog mobo

I have both 2 x 4 and 2 x 3 pin headers. One 3 pin is being used for the AIO.

Saw a review of the Phanteks Neon Digital led strip. Whats nice about it is the light is defused. Anyone got experienece of them?
