One of my pc's was shop bought with windows 7 oem 32-bit. It didn't come with a windows dvd but I do have the genuine license number.

I've previously upgraded the CPU and ram without problems, but now I want to move the C: drive to an SSD.

It seems like I can download an ISO image of Win7 for the new drive or clone the existing drive and either way then go through the phone license update?. Is there a big advantage or disadvantage to one over the other?
