i'm finding myself needing a little more ram, a 48gb kit would be super but have you seen the price...
lets say i found a good matched kit what's intel's 13900kf like at running 4 sticks.
nothing is overclocked i have B board, i just want to run XMP 6000cl36.

ive seen the ram i have used at about £70 and its only £80 new so hoping to just drop a second kit in, but not wanting to drop below 6000mhz

Officially, I believe 13th gen's memory controller is rated to just 4400 for 4 sticks, but I'd expect 4 single rank sticks (16GB are almost certainly single rank) to achieve better than that. XMP may fail "out of the box"

if its going to be a faff id rather just buy a 64gb kit. and sell mine it would not work out too much more

I have 4x 16GB 6000 on z690 but was getting BSODs at full speed. Reduced it to 5200 and it's been perfectly fine since.
