Adding the other 4GB lags windows boot?

I have a 2x4GB hyperX grey (The one that's on offer) and it started going all juddery/laggy when the windows flag comes together.

At first I thought this was processor related but then after taking out one of the RAM sticks and booting it up with just 4GB there is no juddery-ness about it at all.

What's the problem? The ram is rated at [email protected] volts. I had it on that using manual settings, though the XMP caused the same problem.

I believe it happened a few times at 1333mhz aswell...

How does the system operate once Windows has fully loaded with 8Gb installed? (i.e. games, apps, web use etc..)

Also what is the rest of you spec?

My system did this when I added another 4GB....to fix it I updated my MB bios....
