hi

my cooling loop consists of
Ek supreme hf full nickel
XSPC Laing DDC Pump Top Reservoir
Alphacool NexXxos Xtreme II Rev2 Double Radiator

my i5 temps are 35-40 idle

am looking at adding some cooling for 2x 670s but have a couple of questions for you Gurus out there

first thing do i really need to add a back plate as these are the FTW's and come with one also ive read these need the 680 waterblock is that right?

ok thinking of this:-

adding 1 x twin 120 rad and an extra 5.25 drive bay Reservoir

loop looking like this

pump/res > cpu > 120 rad > gpu > 120 rad > 2nd gpu > 5.25 res >

can pump handle this?

also currently tubing is 11mm should i look at getting wider

thanks
looking forward to your thoughts :D

I have a 670 FTW water cooled in my rig, yeah they need a GTX680 block as they use the 680 PCB, mine didn't actually come with a backplate so I bought a heatkiller one, to be honest a backplate doesn't really do much heat wise when the cards under water, just helps prevent the PCB bending with age due to the weight of the block. Your tubing and pump should be fine for that loop, but the isn't really much point in adding the drive bay res.
