hi, a little help please. I currently have a linksys wired modem/router/4 port switch and its model is AG241. Now i would like to add some wireless to the network, i have a usb wireless card for pc but its unreliable so i want something more permenant. so i want something that connects to my wired AG241 by ethernet cable so that it recieves the net connection and then can send it out wirelessly. i've had a look around and this seems to fit the bill and any advice would be great. http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=NW-052-LS or this 1 http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=NW-006-LS&groupid=46&catid=116&subcat=730

thanks

Since you want to add wireless to an existing network with a router already in place, all you need is a wireless access point. However you might find that these are priced pretty much the same as a wireless cable router anyway, so you may as well just go with that - the routing functionality may come in handy at a later date.

In short, you can use any wireless router simply as an access point by giving it an unused IP address on your existing network range, disabling the DHCP server on it and ignoring the WAN port - ie. only plug one of the LAN ports into your existing network.
