Hi all,
My kids have an art tablet that requires connecting to an hdmi in order for it to work correctly. One of them managed to break the charging point on the laptop which we always used for this tablet as it doesn't run it's own screen, but outputs the PC/laptop.
So, I bought a cheap HD6670 GPU to add to one of my systems (5600G onboard graphics). Now, it showed up in Device Manager, no yellow tick, although it stated "No drivers are installed for this device." I've tried using AMD drivers but everytime windows assures me it's already using the most appropriate driver. Nothing I do can get it to work. Even if I switch the monitor from my primary GPU to this additional one - nothing.
I thought maybe the APU was the issue so I've taken the HD6670 out and put it into my other PC which runs off a RX570. But I'm having the same issue. I can't seem to actually get windows to use it other than it being detected in device manager...
Pretty sure I'm missing something so simple, but I'm close to banging my head against the wall. I'm sure it's the driver but I can't manually install or detect with AMD software or anything.
Help!
