Does anyone know if Adidas trainers are true to size, or do you need to buy a size bigger ? I have just bought a pair of Adidas Gazelle and I can't get them on :( I take a size 9 which is normally ok in other makes but these are really tight fitting. Suppose it serves me right for being lazy and ordering online :o

Adidas have always been a smaller fit, they are quite narrow fitting. I had to go up 1/2 a size in them

I find them slightly more narrow but it depends on the style - I'm an 11 but find 11's perfectly fine.

Stopped buying them myself though as I find they screw my back up and were rubbish for the gym.

Narrow too imo, bump them up a half size if you can but if you dont have wide feet you should be fine.

The two pairs of Adidas I have, the US sizes are only half a size bigger whereas normally UK sizes are a full size smaller.

Sorry to clarify I mean with adidas a US size 9.5 is a UK 9, whereas with everyone else it would be US 10 and UK 9.

Just so happens I've ordered some Gazelle from Next in an 11, doubt they'll fit when they come by the sounds of it :(

I always find them narrower than other brands. But since I am usually too lazy to tie my laces then its not an issue ;)

My 8 pairs of Adidas Lin Jogger+ are the comfiest trainers I own!

Got a pair of size 11s in the sale (£18, decent value!) - size 11s but seem a bit too small :/

Will try and wear them anyway being the tightarse I am

Thanks for the replies. Just had a look at my old Nike trainers which are size 9 and the EUR size on the tongue is 44. The Adidas ones I have bought say EUR 43 1/3 for a size 9, so it does look like they are made slightly smaller :(

Yeah mate they run small and narrow i'm generally a size 13 but in addidas even a 14 is too narrow of a fit.

Can't beat trying a load on to be honest to see which run small etc etc

exactly the same here.. im fine with 9/9.5(most of the time) but these in size9 are so tight they have been sitting in a box for ages now..

I wold also agree. Go a size up. My Spezials were a 10 and were tight fitting to begin with but now fit really well. 9s that I normally take would have been way too tight.
