Sold my Honda Accord on Thursday morning. Friday morning recieved a Road Tax Reminder. And yea i sent of the v5c registration thingy on friday morning.

Should i ignore letter? Or ring up dvla?

Or just wait till dvla have updated record and recieve that confirmation letter stating that im not the owner anymore?

^ I thought of that too. Last thing i want is dvla doing my head in thats all.

Nah they wont, it hasnt been long enough for them to update their records. Presumably you've got the relevant bits of your v5 to prove you sold it?

^ Yes i have. Normally im not fussed. It's just its the first time iv sold a car that road tax was coming to an end this month thats all. I knew i would recieve a reminder, just wanted to know the legal side to it.

Doesn't it say on it "If you have just sold this car, please ignore this letter" ?
