Adium and MSN Messenger will not connect!! HELP!

Right this has been doing my headin for days now, and they just dont seem to be connecting...

Could it be due to my ports being closed or something like that?

Please help.... lol

I'm guessing this happens whenever you're using your university's network?

You can make Adium bypass the network restrictions by using the "Systemwide HTTP Settings" in your MSN account's preferences under the proxy tab.

Im not at uni mate - at home.

Tried doing what you said and no joy. Just says unable to connect with it retrying every 10 secs.
